The important three wings of the military- the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force bands perform at this ceremony. It is not just limited to the National flag hoisting and parade but is a three-day-long celebration that concludes on the 29th with the Beating Retreat ceremony at Vijay Chowk.
